After a few problems with getting our phone connected, suddenly on Monday morning it was up and running. Tess, one of Bec’s old friends was down from Brisbane and staying with us for a few days and she told us someone had called during the day (wrong nr) our nr is +61 (0)3 9531 5616.

Yesterday two guys from AAPT came by to offer us to get our mobiles with them as well, for $0.50 a month we get $20 worth of credit so soon I’ll have my mobile with AAPT as well.

The broadband should be up and running by the weekend if we get the modem and everything this week which we were told was “very likely” but for now I’m on a dial-up connection which at least allows me to check my emails and write a few thing here without riding my bike for 5min to the closest internet cafe…

Apart from that Bec started at the Alfred hospital yesterday and is doing ok so far, I’m working about 60h this week at my two jobs but hopefully will have three days of next weekend for my birthday so Bec and I can go Camping for two nights.
