I’m Almost finished with all the paperwork for my visa, but my last soccer game didn’t really turn out the way I hoped for. Today I’ve been into Geelong to see Toni, our immigration layer, so she could look through my application and she thinks that it’s looking just fine. There’s just a few things I have to add and hopefully I’ll end up with a good application so it won’t take too long to approve it and I’ll be able to go back to Australia together with Bec in the end of January. I was really excited for my last soccer game yesterday and everything felt fine in the start of the game. We where dominating on the pitch but in a running duel with one of their defenders I got my left ar caught in his and it my shoulder popped straight out! This was the first time I really dislocated my shoulder before it has only popped out and then in straight away. This time the shoulder stayed out and it was VERY painful, our physio spent about 30 min trying to get it back in but no luck so Bec had to drive me in to Geelong hospital. Once we got there they brought me in straight away, gave me some morfin for the pain, and x-rayed just to see how bad it was and it was pretty bad. Instead of being in the joint the bone was sitting in front and below it, You could see it just by looking at the shouled yourself. They gave me some “happy gas” to breathe and then the doctor slowly forced the shoulder back in place and when it popped back it was such a relief. When I get back to Sweden I’ll go and see a doctor and really look into what I’ll have to do to fix my shoulder but for now I just have to take it a bit easy (we won the game 4-2 at least…)
