All my muscles are pretty sore today. I went running with Christofer yesterday at today I can tell that I’m not as fit as I would like to be.

Summer is definitely over in Sweden, now I can look forward to a couple of months of Grey clouds, a lot of rain, and shorter days.

I’ve now been back in Sweden for two weeks and at the end of October I’m going to Berlin to apply for my new visa. It’s been really good seeing my family and friends again after a year away, but when I’m here I miss Bec and all my frends in Australia instead so it’s a bit hard, it feels like I’m always in the wrong place somehow. I shouldn’t complain too much but having two different lives on opposit sides of the planet is a bit tricky and isn’t something I would recomend if you can avoid it. I live with my parents wich feels a little bit weird but so far it’s working just fine. I’m working as a phone salesman selling internet domains to companies, not perticulary exciting but at least I get a bit of money, and it’s only for three months. I’ve already met quite a few of my friends and today Mikael and Nettan is down from Stockholm so we’re going out for lunch. On the 24th October I’ve dot an appointment with the Australian embassy in Berling which today is the closest one to Sweden. I will do what is called the Accelerated processing service, which means that instead of sending in all my forms and wait for them to get back to me you schedule an appointment, present all your paperwork and if everything is in order you get the visa straight away. It looks like I’m taking the bus down since that is the cheapest alternative 1250SEK return (AU$250) but I haven’t made up my mind yet.

Just visited my old friend Jonas and his girlfriend Caroline. It was nice to see Jonas and meet Caroline for the first time, she was really nice and easy to talk with. Also congratulations to Jane on her 22nd birthday.

Work is pretty boring just as I suspected but I’ll survive. Might get better when I actually manage to sell something

I’ve started working at a phone sales company in Gothenburg selling internet domains, not too exciting but it’s work at least.

I’m back in Sweden. Now I just have to get rid of my jet lag.

Just a few more our to go. Have had enough of Vienna and travelling for this time. It’s a nice city if you’re into old buildings, classical music and antiques though…

Travelling across the globe isn’t the most fun you can have. The flight from Melbourne to Vienna via Singapore was very boring. I had nothing to talk to about with the lady I was sitting next to and my short excitement when I saw which movies they where showing dissapeared quickly when I realized that they for some reason had another schedule with only 4 movies which isn’t too much when you spend 18h on the plane, well at least I managed to have a good 4h sleep, whoohoo! Vienna is really hot today for this time of year (around 30′C). I’ve walked and walked and walked around the city, taken photos of old buildings, went on busses, trams and trains and even taken a guided tour of the opera house. I’m now trying to kill some time at an internet cafe but there’s still over two hours untill I have to cacht the train back to the airport and I really just want to go to bed and snuggle with Bec that I’m missing a lot. It wasn’t as bad as I thought to say goodbye this time mainly since we know that we are committed to each other and that we have a set date (19 dec) for when Bec is coming to Sweden. It will still be really hard to apart for over three months again and probably even harder for Bec since she’s still at the same place doing the same thing but I’m gone. I get to go home and see all my friends and family, start a new job and other exciting things at least. O well with the help of Skype and vSkype we can talk to and see each other over the internet at least, but it will be so much better when all the visa problems are over.

Having a quick stopover to refuel in Singapore, nice to stretch the legs a bit. Hope to get some sleep now so I can enjoy my 14h in Vienna tomorrow. I’ll arrive in Gothenburg around 22.00 on Friday - flight OS 325 from Vienna
