Just 10 days left till I’m going back to Sweden and we have set a date for the wedding next year. I still haven’t really understood that I’m going back to Sweden so soon. It’ll probably hit me when I’m packing my bags next week. Last Saturday I went with Bec to Port Fairy to meet the priest and organise the main things for the wedding. Father Erik Bryant, the priest, was very nice and relaxed and we got along really well. After seeing him and setting a day for the marriage and filling in all the required forms we went to The Vic where we will have the reception and booked the function room and paid the deposit. They gave us a free lunch that we enjoyed outside in the sun and the food was great. After that we did the 3 hour drive back to Jan Juc and had a nice dinner and went to sleep. The wedding is set for the 1st July 2006!!!

I’ve got my headset and webcam that I ordered on E-bay and yesterday I had my first skype talk with Christofer.

The whole Saturday with the engagementparty was great! check out the pictures! We had a great Saturday celebrating our engagement, and the weather was really good. It started at 12 at Sailors Rest in Geelong where we had a more formal engagement party with all of Bec’s family and our close friends. We had rented a function room upstairs and served fingerfood and truffels for dessert. It was nice but a bit hectic for Bec and me to talk to everyone. Around 5pm everyone had left and around 15 of us went back to Matt and Bosco’s house whish is just a five minute walk away. They had rented a portable spa as our engagement present and we spent about 5 hours there drinking beer and eating pizza. After that I had organised to meet with all my soccer friends at a pub close by and we stayed there till they closed around 1am. The next day a couple of Bec’s girlfriends cooked a big roast and we had a very nice and relaxed lunch at their place.

Today me and Bec are having our engagement party!!! First a formal one with Bec’s family and close friends, and later we are going out to a pub to meet everyone we know (sort of).

I just bought my first two things on eBay: a headset and a webcam for the computer so Bec and I can keep in touch when I’m home in Sweden. I’ve also installed Skype on our computer so me and Bec will be able to talk for free when I’m back in Sweden. I started looking for a headset on eBay and realised that a webcam would make it even better because then we could see each other as well. I have now bought a headset and a basic webcam that will arrive here in about a week or so, and the total price is $25 (140SEK) so I’m pretty happy. A few days ago I upgraded the ram memory as well because the computer has been a bit grumpy. Hope the new 512MB of ram will make it a bit happier. I’ve got a buyer for my car we’ll settle the deal on Monday. It has also been extremely cold here the last couple of days and Australia has experienced it’s most widespread area of snowfall since 1951!!!

After a few fun weeks with good surf and some nice goals in soccer, I did my hamstring at soccer practise on Thursday night and have to rest AGAIN! ;-(
