Lots of thanks to everyone who have congratulated me and Bec on our engagement, we have recieved a lot of cards, emails and notices on my guestbook. We just ordered the engagement ring from a friend of ours that has her own jewellery shop, Bec finally made up her mind and it’ll be ready in a couple of weeks. The engagement party is on Saturday the 20th of August, a bit more formal during the day for family and close friends, but from 9pm everyone are welcome to the Barking Dog on Pako st in Geelong.
I finally decidec to order a webhotel for my site. It’s been increasing in size and are now spread out over three different free accounts and it’s getting a bit complicated. I ordered the “lite” package from manufrog.com which for 100SEK/year gives me more than everything I need.

Just came home after seeing stand up comedian Dave Hughes at the BBH (the local pub), a 5 star performance! Checking the swell forecast for tomorrow mornings surf and it looks all right but nothing too special.

My little vegetable garden is starting to grow. Carrots, onions and parsely is popping up and I planted some tomatoes last week.

The surf’s been great the last couple of days and my shoulder and knee are allright so I’ve been surfing 5 days in a row now

No Soccer today so I’ve spent a windy and rainy day inside filling in visa forms and making a new CV. Lots of fun

Just ordered an internet uppgrade to broadband at our house. After looking around and doing a bit of math’s I realized that it would cost us pretty much the same amount every month to get a broadband connection as to keep our slow and annoying dial-up. Today I signed up for a Primus one phone and broadband plan, for $79 a month we get line rental, free local calls and 512Mbps broadband plan with 1000MB of downloads/month (after 1000MB it slows down to dial-up speed but no more to pay). We also get a free modem and only pay a $99 connection fee for our 12 month contract (24 month contract no connection fee). Even if I’ll be going back to Sweden in less than 2 months and Bec will move out before Christmas, Anders will still be here and he’s happy with the new deal. Hopefully it’ll be up and running very soon.

IQ 135 at IQTest.com’s 38 question test and IQ 127 at Tickle.com’s 40 question test. Don’t know exactly how reliable theese little online tests are, but it’s nice to see that my brain hasn’t disappeared even though I haven’t tried it too hard at my latest jobs.

Victory in soccer yesterday and I scored two goals on a very muddy pitch. Today I’m resting my legs and working on my visa application.

I’M ENGAGED!! I got engaged to my cute little Bec a few weeks ago, and we’re not moving to Sydney next year. Yes you read it correctly, I’m engaged. As one of my friends said when I told him the news: “it’s unexpected but not really unexpected” That’s kind of how I feel as well, I really love Bec a lot and we had loose plans of our life together and we felt it was time to make our commitment to each other official.We are currently looking for places to hold the wedding so we can set a date and place before I leave. Another important reason to get this done soon is to make it possible for some of my friends and family in Sweden to hopefully be able to save up some money and join us for the wedding. We have also decided against an interstate move to Sydney next year since we feel that we have enough to plan as it is. Bec will instead do her grad year in Melbourne and is currently sending in applications to a few hospitals here. I love you honey!

In a bit of a bad mood today because of some pain from my wisdom teeth that are bugging me a bit. I’ll have to get them out eventually. Ouch!

I’ve planted some vegies in our herb/vegetable garden at the back, and on Sunday I’m playing soccer again I also saw “Batman Begins” tonight and it was pretty good.
