Finally I have taken a bit of time to write something longer here on the web. So what’s been goin on the last month, well quite a lot. First before christmas me and Bec moved to our new house, We moved in with a Danish guy named Anders and it’s working out well (we actually don’t really see much of each other). When we moved in neither Anders or we had a lot of stuff for the house, but we got a lot of old kitchen things from Bec’s mum and brother so that worked out fine. We have also been really lucky with furniture and managed to get a lot of stuff for free or buy cheap second hand. for $40 (220SEK) we’ve got: Couch, coffee table, dinner table with 4 chairs, bedside tables, and some chelfs and drawers (plus couch and 2 couch chairs that we keep in the massive garage under the house, my plan is to turn that in to the party room) Christmas was good, we had christmas eave with Bec’s mums side of the family. They celebrate christmas eave since they’re from Germany. On christmas day it was an aussie christmas with Bec’s dads side, which is a bit bigger. We all got there around three, had beers, later on a bbq, more beers, christmas presents, beers and that was it. Had a really good time, nice weather, but it didn’t really feel like christmas. New Years was really quiet, we had a little bbq at our house, and went to bed at 12.30. Summer is a really busy time around Torquay so this is the time to make money here, so getting another jobb is one of my plans, come autumn and winter there won’t be much work around, but the surf is much better in winter so that works out fine (except for the fact that its VERY cold in the water then) Last week we went to Melbourne and the Australian open. It’s a massive thing with two big arenas (10.000 people?) three smaller ones and about 15 outside courts with small stands around them. We got a “ground pass” wich lets you in everywhere except the biggest arena, so we just had to choose between around 60 different games and hope for the best. We started of by watching the first round of the doubles with Jonas Bjorkman and his new partner Max Muirny. They won pretty easily but it was fun to see and also fun to see all the Swedes dressed up, and I got to scream some cheers in Swedish as well. Next week we will finally have the phone and internet up and running so new pictures from my adventures is on it’s way. I’ll also try and call some of my old friends back in sweden. Miss u All!
