Christmas in summer
Tuesday 14th December @ 7:59 under category: News

Christmas is getting closer even if it feels weird for me who is used to cold weather (even though snow isn’t something you can rely on in Gothenburg) to see christmas decorations outside when the weather is closer to swedish summer. It’s been quite a while since I wrote something here. Since last I have realized after a trip to the physio that my strained musclels was most likely a crack in a rib, but it’s almost gone now and you can’t do anything about it anyway. I have still been able to work but not surf, not that there’s been any good surf lately. I passed my course for the life savings award so I now hold an Australian Surf Bronze. It was a bit painful to do the course since it involved a 200m swim test, rescuing people in the water and other physical tests and it was probably not the best for my rib but I made it through. I have also spoken on the phone with some friend from back home wich have been really nice. Last week I rang Mikael and Nettan in Stockholm who I haven’t spoken to since I left Sweden, and this morning Beatrice rang and woke me up at about 8am, but that’s fine. It’s always fun to talk to all my old friends, chatting on the internet is good but still not the same as actually talking to someone. We have also started packing up our things to move house. On thursday Becs mum is coming down with the ute so we can move everything. Thursday is also Bec’s and mine 1 year aniversary since we first met in Cairns. We haven’t really decided what to do, it depends a bit on the weather. Ok thats it for now, I’m off to Geelong to have an early Christmas dinner with some friends before some of them goes away for christmas. C Ya.
