It’s been really hot this weekend, but no surf. On friday night I went with Bec to the Queenscliff music festival, and had a really nice time. Queenscliff music festival is an all Australian music festival, with a big variety of music but mainly focusing on blues and folk music. I had a really nice night even if it felt like I was going to turn in to a little puddle of sweat during the first consert. Today we had planned to spend the day on the beach, surfing and relaxing. Unfortunately the sun was hiding behind clouds and the ocean was totally flat so we only had a bit over an hour on the beach relaxing and reading a bit. In one way it was probably good that there was no surf, I have managed to strain a muscle on the right side of my ribs so I can’t really do much. It’s a little bit of a worry since I’m doing my surf bronze (a kind of beach/surf life saving course) on wednesday-friday but hopefully it’ll be ok till then.
